JTG vs. Curt Hawkins:

This should be entertaining. Hawkins ring gear is very Miz-like; JTG side headlocks him down. Hawkins tries to shoot him off but JTG winds up with an arm wringer into a throw. Hawkins backs JTG into the corner but JTG reverses the whip out and goes for the Mug Shot. Curt counters by tossing him over the turnbuckle, to the floor, where JTG bangs his head on the apron. Hawkins goes out after him and shoves him into the ring apron. Back in the ring Hawkins gets two. Vertical suplex by Hawkins into a chinlock; JTG makes it to his feet but both men go down on a double clothesline. Back from commercial JTG backdrop suplexes out of a side headlock. JTG tries another but Hawkins is waiting this time and shifts his weight onto JTG. Gutter punch by JTG followed up by an inverted atomic drop. JTG runs right into the, ahem… “upside-down frown slam”, called so by Jack Korpela. Matt Striker actually calls him on over-naming a move. Korpela says it was taught to Hawkins by the great Norman Smiley. Okay… hopefully he did not teach him the wiggle too. Hawkins ascends the buckle but misses the Heat Seeking Elbow. JTG fires up and hits the Mug Shot but gets two. Jobber. Hawkins kicks his knee while on the mat and JTG’s face lands on Hawkins’ bent knee. JTG hits the Shout Out; that reverse Zigzag move of his, for three.

Here is your winner JTG @ about 6:20 (broadcast)

Rating: 4.5/10 I guess he is not a jobber and his REAL finisher is the Shout Out. Fun little match good to see JTG get a win.

Darren Young vs. Zack Ryder:

Wow, Was William Regal re-retired? Mr. Punk time! Ryder pushes Young around so Young rolls him up for two. There is a really weird swinging camera angle they’re using; it’s like the one they used for the Rock’s entrance or more recently Randy Orton. It’s making me need DramamineTM. Young hits a clothesline and tosses Ryder into the corner; Young mounts the buckles but Ryder hotshots him off the top turnbuckle and he lands in the corner. Zack Ryder kicks him off the ropes. Ryder applies a rear chinlock. Darren elbows and WRESTLES his way out to the appreciation of Mr. Punk, but runs right into Ryder’s boot. Ryder applies a nice neckbreaker for two. Ryder hits a facewash, now called the “Broski Boot”. Chinlock by Ryder but Young gets out and hits a belly-to-belly overhead throw. They battle it out in the middle of the ring. Young hits a flying shoulder missile into an inverted atomic drop. Darren Young hits an over the shoulder gut buster that Christian had in every WWE video game but never actually used. Zack tries another neckbreaker but Young shoots him off; Ryder has the wherewithal to land the Ruff Ryder on the rebound for three.

Here is your winner Zack Ryder @ about 5:50

Rating: 3.5/10 Not an awful match but nothing special. Ryder gets a win though so that’s cool.

Raw Rebound: focuses on John Cena being rehired by Wade Barrett; for the rest of the show check out 411’s WWE Raw Report or “On the Marc” 12/13/2010 Monday Night Raw Review from my personal website.

Yoshi Tatsu vs. Drew McIntyre:

Rare Raw versus SmackDown match here. I like McIntyre’s entrance music; he’s not a bad wrestler just a little boring. I like Tatsu’s music MUCH MORE though. There’s almost twenty minutes left in the broadcast, this should be pretty good then. Mr. Punk likes Tatsu except he shakes his hand too much forcing him to spend half his pay on hand sanitizer. Drew stalls then traps Tatsu in the corner and gives a clean break. Drew steamrolls Tatsu and is acting like this match is a foregone conclusion. McIntyre stalls more. Drew does not give the second clean break and punches away; Yoshi returns the favor and roundhouse kicks him. Yoshi flips out of a back suplex; Drew ducks the big roundhouse kick and retreats to the floor. I see how we will fill fifteen minutes. Tatsu follows McIntyre to the floor where Yoshi tosses him into the barricade; Tatsu tries to rebound off the apron into a head scissor but Drew catches him and uses the ring apron for a shoulder breaker. Unique. Back from commercial McIntyre has Tatsu in a keylock and stomps on it. McIntyre keylocks the arm again using the ropes then a cover for two; Yoshi finally kicks his way back and lands a spinning crucifix for two. Drew stops the offensive flurry via big boot; Drew stomps on arrogantly on his head and reapplies an armlock. Here’s what I was saying earlier; McIntyre’s heat offense is boring and a lot of stalling/posing for the crowd. Yoshi kicks back but Drew counters into a single-arm DDT; at least his psychology is solid, works the arm. Tatsu dropkicks Drew to the floor. Drew charges back in but Yoshi avoids him in the corner and McIntyre sails through the ropes to the floor. Mr. Punk actually mentions that Tatsu won the WrestleMania XXVI pre-show battle royal as Yoshi chops (with the good arm). Yoshi hits double knees in the corner and follows up with a spinning wheel kick for two. Drew backdrops Yoshi over the top but he lands on the apron and scores with a roundhouse kick; Yoshi goes to the top and MISSES the top rope spinning wheel kick. Drew McIntyre locks in the Future-Shock DDT, dammit, for three.

Here is your winner: Drew McIntyre @ about 10:20 (broadcast)

Rating: 4.5/10 I’d score it higher but Drew bores me; the psychology was solid with the arm work and they had a nice exchange in the end but McIntyre’s stalling can get a little tedious.

OVERALL 3.5/10 Not the usual good show I’m accustomed to; Ryder won that was cool the opening match was the more entertaining even though the main event was solid, yet dull.
